We have identified the overlapping period between primary and secondary education as a critical time for many children.
We are able to provide effective, outreach support services that can intervene with children and families, prior to breakdown in the home or at school.
Sensitive work at this stage, with appropriate supports in place to keep families together, will often help sustain young people in mainstream school and prevent the behavioural deterioration which can result in the need for residential care.
Our aims for this service are to provide:
- Mainstream school support
- Appropriate family support
- Behaviour management advice
- Primary/secondary bridge
- Respite care
