The Senior Managers at St Philip’s have extensive experience of working in the residential child care sector.

Their loyalty and commitment to the school is evidenced by years of service to an organisation which continues to grow and develop.

The staff team comprises 150 personnel, who work to support young people in education, care and ancillary services.

Teachers are registered with the GTC and Social Care Staff are registered with the SSSC on agreed timescales.

St Philip’s is a registered charity and, as well as regulation by the Care Inspectorate and Education Scotland, is additionally accountable to the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).

The Board of Directors is the employer of the staff and is ultimately responsible for governance and the management of the school. The Board work on a voluntary basis and, collectively, provide a wide range of experience in the fields of education, social work and business. The Board is properly vetted with each individual member required to obtain a satisfactory PVG check in the same way as the staff.
